The story of ugh Shipping & Logistics began as a Kuwait-based maritime venture. Positioned at the heart of the Gulf's international trade traffic, the founding team built its fleet with an early focus on dry cargo, and over time expanded into container shipping.

Today the company has a strong bond with Türkiye: 50% of its shares belong to our Turkish partner. This partnership combined the company's operational experience in the Gulf with Türkiye's geographic and commercial advantages, laying the foundation of its present Mersin-based identity.

With a mixed fleet, ugh Shipping & Logistics serves both bulk/dry cargo and containerised shipping:

• directions_boat3 dry bulk vessels — for the reliable carriage of bulk cargo such as grain, minerals and construction materials
• directions_boat2 container vessels — for liner services with a container fleet of 1,450 TEU in total

This structure gives the company both flexibility and a competitive edge in large-volume contract shipping — customers can meet both project-based bulk and regular container needs with a single operator.

Bringing together Kuwaiti operational experience and the local knowledge of its Turkish partnership, ugh Shipping & Logistics continues its role in Türkiye's international maritime trade in both dry cargo and container shipping with its Mersin-based fleet.
